Emerging from the vibrant music scene of Sydney's Inner West, Milly McPherson is ready to captivate audiences with her latest track, "Milly's Song."

Teaming up with talented local artists Oliver Ashby, Audrey Baker, Sunny Capron, and Ben Gordon, Milly electrifies the stage with a sound that pulses with raw emotion.
"Milly's Song" is a reimagined track originally performed during her time with 'June And The Desert Flames'. It was recorded at Forbes Street Studios and produced by Sunny Capron. The track itself reflects the complexities often found in codependent relationships. These relationships can blur the boundaries of love and trust, making for an emotional journey.
Milly’s songwriting approach is intensely personal. She often draws from her experiences or the stories of her friends and family, aiming to connect with listeners who may resonate with her narratives. The track features catchy chord progressions and vibrant compositions, ensuring audiences are captivated not only by the lyrics but by the mesmerising melodies that accompany them.
Her sound is deeply influenced by a variety of musical styles. The soulful storytelling of Lake Street Dive, the poetic introspection of Joni Mitchell, and the edgy charm of Courtney Barnett all echo in Milly’s work. Each artist imparts a sense of authenticity and emotional depth that Milly reflects in her own work.
For an exclusive and early listen on 'Milly's Song' before official release on the 6th of February.
